By using the OrmFactory application (“Software”), you agree to the following terms:

Use of the Software

The Software is a database management tool. You are solely responsible for how you use it, including but not limited to storing, modifying, or deleting your own data.

Passwords and Security

The Software may store database credentials locally on your device. These credentials are not transmitted to OrmFactory Ltd or third parties. Protection depends on the operating system:

• Windows – encrypted with the device’s TPM 2.0.
• macOS – encrypted with the system PlatformUUID.
• Linux – stored with a static key, offering minimal protection.

You are responsible for securing your device, backups, and credentials. OrmFactory Ltd is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from lost or compromised devices.

Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. OrmFactory Ltd is not liable for any loss of data, corruption, unauthorized access, or damages resulting from the use or misuse of the Software.

Updates

The Software may check for updates by transmitting technical information (version, platform, architecture). No personal data is transmitted.

Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
